EPSO charges Guillory Sr. with vehicular homicide

On March 30, 2017 the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office released an update regarding the death of a three-year-old boy on Rollins Road on March 23rd.
According to the release Joshua P. Guillory Sr. “has been charged with vehicular homicide” for the toddler’s death, which occurred at Guillory’s residence.
Guillory has also been charged with obstruction of justice.
His bond has been set at $75,000.00 by Judge Gary Ortego.
On Tuesday, March 27, 2017, Joshua Paul Guillory Sr., and Joshua Paul Guillory Jr. were charged with Obstruction of Justice by EPSO.
EPSO Chief Investigator Duan Jorden stated, “The investigation is no longer ongoing, and no further charges are being filed at this time.”
The EPSO Investigation Division also thanks the public “for all assistance that was rendered in helping to quickly solve this case.”
