Miss Pine Prairie
Miss Pine Prairie Pageant on May 27, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. Pageant will be held at the Pine Prairie High School Auditorium in Pine Prairie, La. Entry fee is $25, and the deadline to enter is May 25, 2017. A Queen/King, First, and Second Runner-Up will be selected. Contestants in the Miss Category must be at least 17 years of age, have never been married, and live within a 25-mile radius of Pine Prairie or Pine Prairie School District. Furniture Items Available in Mamou
The Mamou Town Hall, through generous donations, is giving its residents who were affected by the recent round of floods household furniture items. According to Mayor Ricky Fontenot, items will include ice boxes, stoves, bed room sets, living room sets, and washers and dryers. The process will be done through an application process to give these items to residents who really need them.
