Ville Platte woman arrested for bringing drugs into jail

A Ville Platte woman was arrested on May 21, 2017 for bringing contraband into the Allen Parish Correctional Center.
Megan Guillory, who was an employee with the correction center, was arrested after investigators met with Warden Mark Estes and learned more details about the incident.
Guillory was booked in jail on charges of Possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) Schedule I Synthetic Marijuana, Possession with Intent to Distribute a CDS Schedule II Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Distribute a CDS Schedule II Ecstacy, and Introduction of Contraband into a Jail.
The investigation was led by Lieutenant Scotty Paul and Deputy Chad Carrier and was assisted by Deputy Lyndon Neal with the K9 Unit.
