State park to host market & craft fair

St. Martinville — The Longfellow-Evangeline State Historic Site will host a Craft Fair and Market Day on Saturday, March 8. Park gates will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Along with tours of the facility, visitors will be able to sample food and homemade crafts that will depict early Louisiana life of the Acadians, Creole and Native Americans.
