Winds rattle power lines
Power outages of up to a half hour occurred on the west and east sides of Eunice today.
High winds pruning aging hardwood and pine of branches and limbs felled an oak tree on South Vivian, causing a power interruption of about a half hour.
In late morning, power was interrupted in the area of Bobcat and Laurel, one of the busiest intersections in town.
It wasn't immediately know what caused that outage, but it stalled traffic or about a half hour and rendered electronic devices at surrounding businesses useless.
