Johnson and Sonnier win bass tournament

Troy Johnson and Jason Sonnier took first place with a total of 22.0 pounds in the fourth annual Eunice Bass Tournament, held March 8-9 at Indian Creek Recreational Park in Woodworth.

1) Troy Johnson and Jason Sonnier, 22.0 lbs.

2) Pat Martel and Gary Musgrove, 16.8 lbs.

3) Mike Schambaugh and Ronnie Leger, 14.8 lbs.

4) Dean Fontenot and Harrol Begnion 13.4 lbs.

4) Thomas Marcantel and Delano Marcantel, 13.4 lbs.

6) Neil Cormier and Lary LeJeune, 13.2 lbs.

7) Brandon Bourque and Ben Smith, 11.0 lbs.

8) Jessie Johnson and Malcolm Darbonne, 10.2 lbs.

9) Mike and Rex Brown, 8.8 lbs.

10) Andra Gaspard and Otos Johnson, 8.4 lbs.

Biggest Bass:

Saturday - Jason Sonnier, 6.8 lbs.

Sunday - Ben Smith, 2.8 lbs.

Biggest Pike:

Ricky West, 1.6 lbs.

Buddy Fay Award: Ronnie Leger
