Teenager charged with four counts of attempted murder
CROWLEY – A 17-year-old Crowley man is being charged with four counts of attempted second-degree murder following an incident that took place early Saturday morning.
According to Acadia Parish Sheriff Wayne Melancon his office received a call around 4 a.m. in reference to a shooting that occurred near Lovell Street and Avenue J south of Crowley. The victims drove to the Crowley Police Department and filed a complaint giving a description of the suspects and the vehicle they were driving. A short time later the defendants were detained by officers with the Crowley Police, who contacted the Sheriff’s Office which then took over the investigation.
Following an investigation into the incident, Ethan Cart, 17, of Azalea Drive, Crowley was arrested and placed in the Acadia Parish Criminal Justice Facility charged with four counts of attempted second degree murder. District Judge Edward Rubin set bond at $80,000.
Also arrested was Gavin Foreman, 18, of S. Avenue J, Crowley. He was charged with four counts of accessory of attempted second Degree murder. District Judge Kristian Earles set his bond at $40,000.
Both have bonded out of jail.
