Harmon, Shoffiett engagement announced

Mr. and Mrs. Alphonse A. Harmon of Church Point, announce the engagement of their daughter, Allyson Nicole, to Mitchell Ward Shoffiett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Dennis Shoffiett, Sr. of Rayne.

The future bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Remie McGee, Jr. and Mrs. Paulina A. Harmon and the late Gordon J. Harmon, all of Church Point.

Allyson is a graduate of Notre Dame High School and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and is currently employed as an abstractor with Sun Coast Land Services.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Romero, Sr. of Branch, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Shoffiett of Madisonville, Tennessee.

Mitchell is a graduate of Notre Dame High School and is currently employed with Stallion Construction as a superintendent/salesman.

The couple will exchange wedding vows on April 5, during a 7 p. m. ceremony at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Church Point.
