Nolan Sensat
CROWLEY – Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 12, 2008 at St. Michael Chapel in Egan for Nolan Louis Sensat, 85, who died Thursday, April 10, 2008 at his residence in Egan.
Fr. Mikel Polson, pastor, will officiate.
Interment will follow in Sensat Cemetery in Egan.
Mr. Sensat retired from Sun Oil Co. in 1984 after 42 years of service. He was also the founder of Sensat Cemetery.
Visitation will be observed from 10:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2008 at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home in Crowley and again on Saturday morning from 8 - 9:30 a.m.
A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his daughter, Mary Lou Harrington of Lafayette, two sons, Terry and Billy Sensat, both of Egan and a brother, Elmer Sensat of Lafayette; ten grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Mr. Sensat was preceded in death by his wife, Rosita C. Sensat, a daughter, Linda Sensat Lejeune, a great-grandson, Rowdy Ritter, and his parents, O.P. and Eva Doucet Sensat.
