CROWLEY – Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 18, 2008 at the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Amy R. Richard, 72, who died Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at American Legion Hospital in Crowley.

Brother Loyd Singley will be officiating the services.

Burial will take place at Acadia Rest Haven Cemetery in Crowley.

Visitation will be observed on Friday from 8 a.m. until time of services.

She is survived by her husband, Buford Richard, Sr. of Crowley; two sons, Buford and wife Pamela Richard, Jr. of Midland and Danny and wife Karen Richard of Mount Pleasant, Texas; one sister, Gladys Broussard of Orange, Texas; six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one grandson, Terry James Richard; her parents, Jessie and Leona Gary Runnels; one brother, Charles Attawa; three sisters, Bernell and Eunice Attawa and Josephine Dunn.

She was better known to her friends and co-workers as Ms. Amy.

Duhon Funeral Home of Crowley is in charge of the arrangements.
