Misty Barham and Torrence Jones, both of Eunice, announce the birth of their daughter, Dahlia Maeslynn Jones, born on April 9 at the Acadian Medical Center weighing 7 pounds and 6.6 ounces.

Maternal grandparent is Nesta Vaughn of Abbeville.

Paternal grandparents are Betsy and Joseph Lewis of Eunice, Randolph Scott and Dorothy Labrie of Eunice.

She was welcomed home by two brothers, Torrance Skinner and Devon Freeman, two sisters Cicelee and Adayvia Jones, and Nanny Starla and many family and friends.

Gavin Fontenot

Nancy Crader of Eunice and Benjamin Fontenot, also of Eunice, announce the birth of their son, Gavin Luke Fontenot, born on April 14 at the Acadian Medical Center weighing 7 pounds and 1 ounce.

Maternal grandparents are Laura Crader of Eunice and the late Rabion Crader of Eunice.

Paternal grandparents are Patrick and Wilda Fontenot of Eunice.

He was welcomed home by his parents, and older brother Alex, and many family and friends.

Erin McElwee

Randall and Maranda McElwee of Crowley announce the birth of their daughter, Erin Michelle McElwee, born on April 16 at the Acadian Medical Center weighing 7 pounds and 9.2 ounces.

Maternal grandparents are Ronald and Michelle Aguillard of Crowley.

Paternal grandparents are Bernice McElwee of Vidrine and the late Randall S. McElwee, Sr. of Crowley.

She was welcomed home by Ian Randall McElwee.

Ava Brown

Tre´ and Lauren Brown of Eunice announce the birth of their daughter, Ava Grace Brown, born on April 16 at the Acadian Medical Center weighing 8 pounds.

Maternal grandparents are Larry and Carol Wortham of Newnan, Ga.

Paternal grandparents are Jim and Brenda Brown of Newnan, Ga., formerly of Baton Rouge.

Laura-Kate Miller

Lee and Aimee Miller of Eunice announce the birth of their daughter, Laura-Kate Miller, born on March 24 at the Women's & Children's Hospital in Lafayette weighing 7 pounds.

Maternal grandparents are John and Miki McManus of Eunice.

Paternal grandparents are Garrett and Myrna Miller of Eunice.

She was welcomed home by her brother Copeland Wade Miller.

Carlos Hernandez, Jr.

Carlos Hernandez of Basile and Amanda LeJeune, also of Basile, announce the birth of their son, Carlos Hernandez, Jr., born on April 9 at the Acadian Medical Center weighing 8 pounds and 11.8 ounces.

Maternal grandparents are Donna LeJeune of Kinder and Terry Frederick, also of Kinder.

He was welcomed home by Morgan LeJeune, Christopher LeJeune and Timothy Blanchard, Jr.
