Folk Roots coming to a close

The Louisiana Folk Roots Ninth Annual Dewey Balfa Cajun and Creole Heritage Week is coming to a close Friday, April 25. The event began Friday, April 18, in Chicot State Park. Louisiana Folk Roots is a non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing the unique folkways and cultural resources that are of such legendary abundance in Louisiana,” according to its website.
