Cherie LeJeune honored at miscellaneous bridal shower

The home of Arlene Albarado of Crowley served as the setting for a 2 p.m. miscellaneous bridal shower honoring Cherie LeJeune of Baton Rouge, bride-elect of Shaun Patrick Thibodeaux of Baton Rouge.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Vaughn and Judy LeJeune of Crowley.

The groom-to-be is the son of Glendy and Ella Thibodeaux of Church Point.

The honoree was attired in a light blue floral print sun-dress for the special occasion.

Her mother chose a black and white skirt complemented with a matching black top.

The mother of the groom chose a black and white floral print blouse with matching slacks.

Various finger foods were served, as well as a strawberry cake covered with chocolate dipped strawberries for dessert.

Approximately 20 guests attended the shower.

The couple will be married at 7 p.m., on May 17, at White Oak Plantation in Baton Rouge..
