Members of the Smith, Benoit and Sarver family gathered for reunion

A reunion uniting Smith, Benoit and Sarver family members was held on April 19 at 8 a.m. Everyone gathered at the Ebenezer Church of Nazarene. Union committee members were Stephanie and Martin Schlesinger, Jerry and Jeanette Dennies and Charles and Betty Jo Sarver. Charles and Betty Jo Sarver were the winners of the facts of family trivia game that was played, and they also donated family history books to all family descendants present. Henry Burkehart and Charles Sarver were the winners of the washer tossing event played by all the men. Everyone shared the refreshment responsibilities by bringing a covered dish. Approximately 75 guest attended traveling from Meterie, LaPlace, Diamondhead and Poparville, Mississippi; Pinehurst Texas, Kinder, Crowley, Mire and Riceville.
