Update: LSUE to face Lenoir in title game

Cast into the loser's bracket after a crushing 13-3 loss to Louisiana State University at Eunice (51-12), the top-ranked Lenoir Community College (54-11) Lancers rebounded late last night, outlasting Monroe Community College 5-4 to get a second shot at the Bengals and the Division II National Championship title Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
With one loss to LSUE under their belt, underdog Lenoir would need to beat LSUE Thursday and Friday night to win the 2008 World Series title.
Undefeated LSUE only needs one win to return home with their second national championship trophy in two years.
