JENNINGS

JENNINGS – Services for Rita Guidry, 74, will be held Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 10 a.m. at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Jennings with Father Don Leger officiating. She died Thursday, June 12, 2008 at Jeff Davis Living Center in Jennings. She was born in Mermentau to Clamile and Angela Meaux Breaux. Interment will be in the Mermentau Cemetery.

Mrs. Guidry was a US Postal Clerk for 36 years.

Survivors include her son, Andrew A. Guidry of Mermentau; a daughter, Diana Lois Guidry of Mermentau; one brother, John Breaux of Lafayette; two sisters, Ouanita Leger of Mermentau and Vera Mae Boudreaux of Muskoger, Miss.; three grandchildren and four great-grand children.

Preceeded in death by her parents; husband, Wilfred A. Guidry; and her brother, Odgen Breaux.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 14, 2008 from 8:30 a.m. until time of service.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Matthews and Son Funeral Home of Jennings.
