On Monday, June 16, 2008, Lelia Mouton Broussard passed away at age 92 at Abbeville General Hospital.

Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville is in charge of all arrangements.

Visiting hours will be Tuesday, June 17 from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m.; Wednesday, June 18 from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. services.

Interment will take place in St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery in Abbeville.

She was born and raised in the Perry area and was the daughter of the late O’Neil Mouton and Alida Trahan Mouton.

She is survived by her two sons, Lawless J. Broussard and Gill Paul Broussard of Abbeville; two granddaughters, Ami Elizabeth Broussard and Nikki Lou Broussard; former daughter-in-law, Lisa Lange Broussard; sister-in-law, Eula LeCamus and brother-in-law, Dave Broussard. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who dearly loved her.

She was preceded by her husband, Eddie O. Broussard; her first husband, Paul Eursin “P.U” Hebert, four brothers, Aldolph, Lovelace, Wilson and Fred; and one sister, Lillie Mouton David.
