Wedding Ceremony unites Abshire and Darby

Laura Theresa Abshire and Dru Michael Darby were united in marriage Wednesday, June 11, 2008. The 6:00 p.m. home ceremony was officiated by Brett Darby.

The bride is the daughter of Stephanie Abshire of Abbeville and Alan Abshire of Maurice. Her grandparents include Maude Ditch and Theresa Abshire of Abbeville.

The groom is the son of Kim Hernandez of Abbeville and Scott and Lenee Darby of Lafayette, LA. His grandparents include Sarah and Earl Darby of Kaplan and Sandra G. Smith of Lafayette.
