Jude Bernard Stelly
LAFAYETTE – Funeral Services for Jude Bernard Stelly, 26, will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Michael Schatzle and Fr. Martin Leonards officiating and Deacon Cody Miller, Jude’s Uncle and Godfather doing homily. Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will resume on Thursday, June 19, 2008 from 8 a.m. until time of services. Internment will be at a later date.
Jude was a native of Rayne and a resident of Milton passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2008. Jude enjoyed spending time with his daughter Jaiden and his special friend, Brenda. He was very close to all his family and friends. He loved music, movies and video games. He had a big heart and was kind to everyone he met. He had a unique love for his family, life and had a positive attitude. He really enjoyed his job as a cabinet maker at Cajun Woodworks. Jude will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his daughter, Jaiden Michelle and her mother Crystal Romero of Erath; his special companion, Brenda Duhon of Milton; his mother Josie Claire Cramer of Rayne; his father and his wife Benny and Susan Stelly of Rayne; brothers, Jerritt Stelly, Joshua Stelly and Bryan Stelly all of Rayne; sister Lisa Blanchard of Arnaudville; maternal grandmother, Sophie Cramer of Rayne; paternal grandfather, Walter Stelly of Rayne and countless relatives and close friends.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Gerhard Cramer; his paternal grandmother, Dee Stelly and a first cousin, Matthew LeBlanc.
