Michael Duhon

CROWLEY – A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2008 at 2 p.m. at the Northside Assembly of God for Michael Gene Duhon, 57, who died Sunday, June 22, 2008 at Southwest Medical Center in Lafayette.

Pastor Loyd Singley will be officiating the service.

He is survived by his wife Clara Welch Duhon of Crowley; two daughters, Tammy Abshire Richard of Crowley and Tracie Abshire Moore of Crowley; one son, Tommy Lane Abshire of Crowley; one brother, Anthony Roy Duhon of Houma; two sisters, Julie Richard of Crowley and June Marceaux of Crowley; five granddaughters, Kasie, Kierstin, Brooke, Madison and Caitlyn; and two grandsons, Devin and Dane.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Anthony Jules and Mercy Gary Duhon.

He was a man that thought about life and lived it to the fullest. That was the reason he decided to donate his body to science. So that someone else could live in his absence.

Duhon Funeral Home of Crowley is in charge of the arrangements.
