Funeral services will be held – June 27, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church in Maurice, Louisiana. for Michael (Mike D.) Joseph Davis, Jr. Age – 18, who died on June 22, 2008 at Lafayette General Medical Center.

Father Joe Breaux will conduct services. Interment (Entombment) will be in St. Alphonsus Cemetery, Maurice, Louisiana.

He is survived by his mother, Meredith (Byron) Perry of Abbeville, LA; his father, Michael (Janice) Davis, Sr. of Houston, TX; his maternal grandparents, Alfa (Verna) Sinegal of Maurice, LA and grandfather, Norman Cole of Scott, LA; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Rose Gamble (Willie) of Lake Charles, LA; two brothers, Dion Perry of Abbeville, LA and Daniel C. Davis of Houston, TX; three sisters, Brooke Perry of Abbeville, LA, Michaela J. Davis of Houston, TX, and Velincia R. Lewis of Lafayette, LA; one uncle, Alfa M. (Uncle Mac) Sinegal of Houston, TX; five aunts, Janice Washington of Lafayette, LA, Anethra Sinegal of Lafayette, LA; Mrs. Deborah Davis-McZeal (Clifton) of Lafayette, LA. Dianna Davis-Zenon and Veronica “Connie” Davis both of Houston, TX. Mrs. Deborah Davis-McZeal (Clifton) of Lafayette, LA.

A host of extended uncles - (Richard, Daniel, and Chris); and aunts -(Dizelle), cousins, relatives and friends.

An extended family in spirit, Courtney (Sharon) Washington, Sr., Courtney Washington, Jr. (C.J.), Brandon Washington and Devante Washington all of Lafayette, LA.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27, 2008 at St. Joseph’s Church from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. A rosary will be recited at 8:30 a.m.
