WALTER LEE FONTENOT

November 12, 1958 - June 28, 2008

REDDELL - Funeral services were held for Walter Lee Fontenot, 49, of Mamou, at Antioch Baptist Church in Ville Platte at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 5. Burial followed in the New Light Cemetery in Reddell.

Mr. Fontenot died Saturday, June 28, 2008, at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou.

Survivors include his wife, Sheila Fontenot of Mamou; his mother, Orelia Fontenot of Mamou; two sons, Walter Lee Fontenot Jr. and Mark Anthony Fontenot, both of Dallas, Texas; two daughters, Tequila Jones and Ramia Guillory, both of Mamou; one brother, Nelson Fontenot Jr. of Mamou; eight sisters, Lou Hilda Thomas of Ville Platte, April Fontenot and Carrie Fontenot, both of Mamou, Nora Chaison and Esta Edwards, both of Beaumont, Texas, and Janice Stevens, Gloria Celestine and Etta Fontenot, all of Lake Charles; and two grandchildren.

Owens-Thomas Funeral Home of Ville Platte was in charge of arrangements.

NELSON J. FONTENOT

Funeral services were held for Nelson J. Fontenot, 79, at Sacred Heart Colic Church at 11 a.m. July 5. Burial followed in the Old Ville Platte Cemetery.

Mr. Fontenot died July 4, 2008, at Ville Platte Mecial Center.

Survivors include his son, Bobby Fontenot and wife, Elaine, of Baton Rouge, three sisters, Vine Mayeaux of Washingon, Mercedes Watt of Virginia, and Betty Reed and husband, James, of Ville Platte and grandchild, Robby Fontenot.

He was preceded in death by Louis Fontenot Jr. and Olle Ardoin Fontenot, and son Mark Nelson Fontenot.
