Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Adias Hargrave Jr., 78, who died Sunday, July 13, 2008 at Southwest Medical Center.

He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon Kendal Faulk officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife, Agnes Touchet Hargrave of Cow Island; two sons, Roger Lane Hargrave and his wife Janice of Kaplan and Kerry James Hargrave of Cow Island; one daughter, Londa and her husband Roy Touchet, Sr.; eight grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Adias Hargrave Sr. and the former Josephine Bertrand; his stepmother, Ava Guidry; one grandchild, Jason Touchet; two brothers, Wiley and Oldy Hargrave; and five sisters.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, July 14, 2008 from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, July 15, from 9 a.m. until services.
