Warren Murphy, Sr.

CROWLEY – A memorial service took place Monday, July 21, 2008 at the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel for Warren Murphy, Sr., 88, who died Friday, July 18, 2008 at Southwind Nursing Home in Crowley.

Burial will take place in Maxie Cemetery.

He is survived by three daughters, Dorothy Spallino of Beaumont, Texas, Debra Murphy of Lafayette and Roxanne Pastor of Crowley; two sons, Warren Murphy, Jr. of Rayne and Michael Murphy of Crowley; two sisters, Myrtle Chaddick of Lafayette and Anna Mae Plasiance of St. Gabriel; four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Myrtis Smith; his second wife, Mary Duhon; one grandchild, Shannon Spell; his parents, Camay and Francis Stark Murphy; and one brother, Winfred Murphy.

Duhon Funeral Home of Crowley was in charge of the arrangements.
