My VIEW 7.20.08
I’ve come to realize that it is not humanly possible to satisfy everyone all of the time.
Working in the public eye as I do, I have to try my hardest to make sure to dot all my I’s and cross all my T’s, to say the least.
Every once in a while I do slip-up, but who doesn’t? Right? And I do try to correct the situation to the best of my ability.
But what really gets to me, is the fact that no matter how hard you try and how far you go out of your way to please some people, it is just impossible.
I really enjoy my job. I love working with the public. I have met many very nice and considerate people since I started here last September.
I think I have grown considerably through personal experiences I have had to encounter.
It is from the feedback that I receive, good and bad, that makes me a stronger person.
We can all use some constructive criticism from time to time. I think it keeps us humble.
I think the majority of our readers will agree with me when I say, “We all have room for improvement”.
Recently, I have had to cope with a couple of, not so pleasant, customers.
I know you’re probably thinking that I should just get use to this, because it comes with the territory. But, on the contrary, I think people should be treated with respect, no matter what.
Patience and understanding are virtues instilled within all of us, but whether we choose to use these qualities is totally up to us.
All I ask, is for you to bear with me. If I don’t get it right today, there is always tomorrow.
