Jyhreh Johnson was awarded First Place for home plate to home plate speed racing in the U8 PONY League Nationals, held last week in Slidell. The daughter of Anita and Ken Johnson of Eunice, she’s also known as Jyhreh-Jet by her teammates. Jyhreh has recorded 15 home runs, including one grand slam, on the season. Her team, the Eunice All-Stars, fell 12-1 to the Austin, Texas Bandits in the first round of bracket play.
