ANTHONY PAUL “CRITTER’ FONTENOT

PINE PRAIRIE - Funeral services for Anthony Paul “Critter” Fontenot were held Saturday, July 30, 2016 in the First Baptist Church of Pine Prairie with Reverend Barry Gautreaux and Reverend Keith Sheridan officiating. Committal service followed in the Beaver Creek Cemetery.
Fontenot, 54, of Pine Prairie, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans.
He was born September 5, 1961 in Ville Platte to the union of Sidney Fontenot Jr. and Shirley Ann Leggett Fontenot. He worked in production in the oil field. He loved gardening, fishing, and hunting.
He is preceded in death by his father; and one brother, Sidney Fontenot III.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are: his mother, Shirley Fontenot of Pine Prairie; one daughter, Jessica Miller of Oakdale; one brother, Jerry (Dana) Fontenot; one sister Tammy (Kevin) Rodriguez, all of Pine Prairie; two grandchildren, Sophi A’lyse Miller and Lux Anthony Miller, of Oakdale; sister-in-law Tammy Marie Fontenot, of Pine Prairie; and his fiancé, Sharona Leboeuf, of Duralde; and a host of neices, nephews, family and friends.
Pallbearers were Logan Fontenot, Timothy Rodriguez, Benjamin Rodriguez, Wayne Deville, Kerrie McCauley, and Tony McCoullough.
White Oaks Funeral Home in Oakdale was in charge of the arrangements.
