MAMOU - Funeral services will be held for Armance Hollier Tate, 98, of Mamou, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou at 2 p.m., Thursday, August 28. Burial will follow in the New St. Ann’s Cemetery.
Ms. Tate died Monday, August 26, 2014.
Survivors include one son, Bob W. Tate and his wife, Joline, of Dallas, Texas; one daughter, Bell Deshotel and her husband, Lear, of Mamou; one brother, Elvin Hollier of Lafayette; three grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kimley Tate; her parents, Adam and Adalaide Hollier; one daughter, Callie Daigle; five brothers, Joseph, Allen, Tim, Burke and Mayance Hollier; and two sisters, Inez Thompson and Meldia Fontenot.
Father Mark Melancon will officiate.
