Funeral services will be held for Arthur Jack, 58, of Mamou, at New Light Baptist Church in Vidrine at 11 a.m., Saturday, September 20. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Jack died Tuesday, September 16, 2014, in Marrero.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa Jack of Mamou; one son, Waylon Jack (Liz) of Mamou; three step-children, Bridgette Jack and Roushell Jack, both of Lake Charles, and Joseph Jack (Crystal) of Sulphur; his former wife, Alberta Bellard Jack of Mamou; his parents, Leroy Jack Sr. of Vidrine and Renella E. Jack of Mamou; four sisters, Diana Landry (Wilson) of Opelousas, Mary Della Dominic and Libby Robertson (Leroy), all of Ville Platte, and Gloria Metoyer (Allen) of Houston, Texas; four brothers, Nelson Jack (Velma) and Rev. Leroy Jack Jr., all of Ville Platte, Roland Jack (Irma) of Lake Charles and Ronald Jack of Mamou; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and special friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Leon Edwards and Ella Mae Edwards; and his paternal grandparents, Raymond Jack and Idell Jack.
Rev. Leroy Jack Jr. will officiate.
