Betty Ann Fontenot

MAMOU - Funeral services were held for Betty Ann Fontenot, 72, of Mamou, at St Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou at 12 noon, Monday, March 31. Burial followed in the New St. Ann’s Cemetery.
Mrs. Fontenot died Saturday, March 29, 2014, at Savoy Care Center in Mamou.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Joseph Dudley Fontenot of Mamou; two sons, James Kirk Fontenot and his wife, Jan, of Mississippi and Michael Wayne “Toynka” Fontenot and his wife, Melissa, of Eunice; two daughters, Cynthia Gail Dudding and her husband, John, of Indian Bayou and Rachel Lynne Clavier and her husband, David, of Eunice; one brother, Raymond Thibodeaux of Opelousas; one sister, Mary Lou Leger of Opelousas; six grandchildren, John Ross Dudding, Jacob Joseph Dudding, Jesse James Clavier, Samantha Lynne Brown, Tobi Lynne Fontenot and Heather Brooke Fontenot; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Isabelle Thibodeaux; and two sisters, Shirley Thibodeaux and Jeanette Chellette.
