Bobby Michael Vidrine

Funeral services were held for Bobby Michael Vidrine, 57, of Ville Platte, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 4 p.m., Monday, May 26. Burial followed in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum.
Mr. Vidrine, affectionately known as “Bobby Black,” died Thursday, May 22, 2014, at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
Survivors include his two beloved sons, Jarred Vidrine and his wife, Aimee, of Ville Platte and Keegan Vidrine and his wife, Stephanie, of Alexandria. His legacy will forever live on through his three precious grandchildren, Brayden Vidrine, Mary Margaret Vidrine and Kate Eloise Vidrine. He also leaves behind his two faithful sisters, Theresa Fontenot of Fort Myers, Florida, and Connie Lafleur and her husband, Jimmy, of Ville Platte. The loss of Bobby will be felt by many. His nieces and nephews and countless friends will be saddened by the loss of such a special individual. He was a man with an extraordinary spirit.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Essie DeVille Vidrine.
