BELAIRE COVE - Funeral services for Brenda “Sis” Pitre Fontenot, 62, were held Friday, December 23, 2016 at Sacred Heart Chapel in Belaire Cove. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Fontenot, a resident of Belaire Cove, passed away Tuesday December 20, 2016 at University Hospital and Clinics in Lafayette.
She will be missed by her husband, Harold “Zick” Wayne Fontenot, of Belaire Cove; brothers, Nolton “T-Boy” Roger Joseph Pitre Jr., of Opelousas, Kenneth Pitre, of Leonville, Anthony “Rocky” Pitre, of Opelousas, Randy “Blu” Pitre, of Opelousas, and Donald Pitre, of Bunkie. She is preceded in death by her parents, Nolton Roger Joseph Pitre Sr., and Barbara Short Pitre, and sister, Cecil “TeTe” Stelly.
LaVille Funeral Home in Ville Platte was in charge of arrangements.
