VILLE PLATTE- Visitation for Brenda Arvie will be observed from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Greater Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Ville Platte. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. at Greater Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, and internment will be in the church cemetery. Rev. Herman Arvie will officiate.
Arvie, 53, passed away January 1, 2017 at Our Lady of Lourdes.
Arvie is survived by her husband, Carlton Arvie, of Ville Platte; daughters, Carla Arvie and Breonna Arvie; sons, Carlton Arvie III and Carlenski Arvie, all of Ville Platte; sister Mayor Jackie M. Thomas, of Chataignier; brother, Lee Malveaux, of Chataignier; and mother, Barbra Malveaux, of Ville Platte.
Owens-Thomas Funeral Home of Ville Platte is in charge of funeral arrangements.
