Funeral services for Brian Lee West were held Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Saint Landry Baptist Church with Reverend Lester May officiating. Interment followed in Ferguson Cemetery in Bayou Chicot.
West, 49, of Denham Springs, entered eternal rest on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at his residence.
He is preceded in death by one nephew, Jonathan Kyle West.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his fiance’, Amy Picard, of Denham Springs; two daughters, Samantha Burkett and her husband, Kevin, of Bayou Chicot, and Brittany West, of Turkey Creek; two stepdaughters, Kirsten Dupre and Katherine Dupre, both of Denham Springs; his parents, Thomas and Rita West, of Bayou Chicot; three brothers, Thomas Louis West and his wife, Rhonda, of Saint Landry, James West and his wife, Renee’, of Saint Landry and Mark West and his wife, Alicia, of Bayou Chicot; one sister, Linda W. Deville, of Ville Platte; and four grandchildren, Ava Wall, Brian Burkett, Chelsea Burkett and Kourtney Burkett.
Rush Funeral Home in Oakdale was in charge of arrangements.
