Funeral services will be held for Calvin Doucet Jr., 38, at the Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Ville Platte at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 11. Burial will follow in the Ninth Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Doucet died Friday, April 3, 2015, at Baptist Beaumont Hospital in Beaumont, Texas.
Survivors include his loving parents, Calvin Doucet Sr. and Carolyn Slaughter Doucet of Ville Platte; one son, Trenton Bryce Williams of New Iberia; and a host of other relatives and special friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Murphy and Mary Slaughter; and his paternal grandparents, Carlton and Sedonia Doucet.
Visiting hours will be observed from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Saturday, April 11, at Williams Funeral Home in Ville Platte.
Pastor Lloyd Antoine will officiate.
