LAWTELL - Funeral services were held for Calvin Melton Richard, 69, of Mamou, at the Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou at 10 a.m., Monday, February 2. Burial followed in the St. Bridgette Cemetery in Lawtell.
A loving brother, uncle and friend, Mr. Richard died Friday, January 30, 2015, at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte.
Survivors include two brothers, Felton Richard and his wife, Gloria, of Mamou and Robert Richard and his wife, Shirley, of Eunice; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Nola Richard; one brother, James Rodney Richard; and two sisters, Barbara Melancon and Linda Manuel.
Father Mark Melancon officiated.
