VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services for Carolyn S. Lafleur, 66, will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 2 p.m. with the visitation beginning at 12 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church in Ville Platte. Burial will be in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Eradley Ben, Sr. will conduct the funeral ceremony.
On Wednesday, June 15, 2016, the Angels of the Lord descended on the residence of Carolyn and escorted her to the Promised Land.
Cherishing her departure will be her husband, Phillip Lafleur of Ville Platte; three daughters: Twyonna Fontenot, Nekeshia Watson and Moenette Lafleur all of Ville Platte; four sisters, Helen Frank Jenkins of Laurenton, New York, Kathleen Kirk of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Deborah F. Paul of Baton Rouge and Shelly Von Frank of San Antonio, Texas; three brothers, Chester Frank Jr., Lester Frank and Renaldo Frank, all of Ville Platte; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Owens-Thomas Funeral Home of Ville Platte is in charge of arrangements.
