MAMOU - It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Carroll James “Gilly” Pierrottie, 78, of Mamou, announces his passing on Saturday, January 17, 2015, at 12:10 p.m. at his residence.
A loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, Mr. Pierrottie died Saturday, January 17, 2015, at his residence.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Rita Ann Vizinat Pierrottie of Mamou; and two sons, Barry Pierrottie and Bryon Pierrottie, both of Mamou. He was further blessed with one granddaughter, Nikkita Pierrottie. She was the absolute light of his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Blanche Pierrottie.
