Cathy Freeman

Funeral services will be held for Cathy Freeman, 49, of Ville Platte, at Disciples Baptist Church in Ville Platte at 11 a.m., Saturday, November 29. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery.
Ms. Freeman died Tuesday, November 25, 2014, at Ochsner Health System in New Orleans.
Survivors include her mother, Jessie Lynn Williams of Ville Platte; her fiancé, Willie “Speedy” Bryant of Ville Platte; two brothers, Johnny Freeman (Patricia) and Michael Freeman (Pam Denton), both of Ville Platte; three sisters, Freida Bias (June) and Barbara Collins, both of Ville Platte, and Framella Frank (Rev. Charles) of Mamou; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Freeman.
Rev. Charles Frank will officiate.
