BELAIRE COVE - Funeral services will be held for Charles Wayne Perrodin, 69, of Belaire Cove, at the Sacred Heart Chapel in Belaire Cove at 1 p.m., Friday, September 12. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A loving husband, father and grandfather, Mr. Perrodin died Wednesday, September 10, 2014, at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte. He loved gardening, camping and gathering with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Joanna Dupre Perrodin of Belaire Cove; three sons, Kirk Ortego and his fiancée’, Crystal Johnson, of Ville Platte, Kevin Perrodin and his wife, Danielle, of Cankton and Brady Perrodin and his fiance’, Kelly Miller, of Ville Platte; four brothers, Randall Perrodin, Kenneth Perrodin, Scott Perrodin and Mitch Perrodin, all of Ville Platte; two sisters, Paula Deville and Charlotte Vidrine, both of Ville Platte; and five grandchildren, Bailey Perrodin, Mori Lee Perrodin, Landon Perrodin, Ethan Perrodin and Ava Marie Ortego.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Morrel and Eva Lou Fontenot Perrodin.
Visitation will be held today, September 11, from 12 noon to 9 p.m., with a rosary being recited at 6:30 p.m., and will resume again Friday, September 12, at 8 a.m.
Father Brian Harrington will officiate.
