GRAND PRAIRIE - Funeral services will be held for Colby H. Jeansonne, 18, of Grand Prairie, at St. Peter’’s Catholic Church in Grand Prairie at 1 p.m., Thursday, April 3. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Jeansonne died Monday, March 31, 2014.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Daisy Richard and Michael Brown of Grand Prairie; his father and step-mother, Emile Joseph Jr. and Cindy Jeansonne of Opelousas; three brothers, Ian, Trent and Trey; three sisters, Hillary, Julia and Sierra; his maternal grandmother, Janetta Rollins of Ville Platte; his maternal grandfather, Garland Rollins Jr. of Grand Prairie; his paternal grandmother, Jeanette Green and her husband, Blann, of Opelousas; his godfather, Blaine Joubert; his godmother, Mindy Darby and uncle Michael; uncle Christopher Green; aunt Lauren Green; and numerous cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Emile Joseph Jeansonne Sr.; and one uncle, Mark Rollins.
