HOUSTON, Texas - Funeral services will be held for Common Wilson Jr., 65, of Houston, Texas, at the East Park Baptist Church in Houston, Texas, at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 30. Burial will follow in the Eternal Rest Funeral Home Cemetery.
A native of Ville Platte, Mr. Wilson died Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at the Ben Taub Hospital in Houston, Texas. He was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Priscilla Ann Wilson; one son, Chris L. Wilson; one step-son, Leslie Baldwin; two brothers, Bertrand Wilson of of Beaumont, Texas, and Loney Wilson of Baytown, Texas; three sisters, Louisa W. Tezeno of Ville Platte and Barbara Tate and Lena Wilson, both of Missouri City, Texas; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Elia Wilson; his father, Common Wilson Sr.; and two brothers, Lenett Wilson and Irvin Roy Wilson.
Pastor F.C. Holiday will officiate.
