VILLE PLATTE - A Mass of Christian burial for Curtis L. Clark will be celebrated on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 2 p.m. at St. Peters Catholic Church in Pine Prairie. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Peters Church Cemetery with Father Kenny Mayne celebrant. At the request of the Clark family, visitation will take place at Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 8 a.m. until the time of service.
Clark, 80, passed away on November 15, 2016.
Clark was an active member of St. Edmonds Catholic Church in Lafayette. He was the owner and operator of Clark’s Refrigeration in Lafayette for 30 years. Clark loved gardening, fishing and spending time working on old cars with his two sons. He was an amazing husband, father, grand-father and friend. Clark took great pride in his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
His greatest joy was spending time with his family which includes two sons, Dr. Roderick Clark and wife, Dr. Tina, of Lafayette and Vince Clark of Jennings; four grandchildren who he greatly loved and adored, Christopher Clark, Cassie Clark, Chase Clark, and Ava Clark; sisters-in-law, Nell Soileau and husband, Nolan, and Janet Thibodeaux and husband, Harold; brothers-in-law, Samuel Leger and wife, Cheryl, and Stanley Leger and wife Perline; and niece, Cathy Clark.
Clark now rests in Heaven with his devoted wife of 58 years who he cherished, Doris Leger Clark; parents, Evelton and Ivy Johnson Clark; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Horace and Beulah Mae Leger; and brother, Ray Clark.
