Dennis Ray Hoffpauir

MAMOU - Funeral services will be held for Dennis Ray Hoffpauir, 75, of Mamou, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou at 10 a.m., Friday, March 20. Burial will follow in the New St. Ann’s Mausoleum.
A loving, husband, father, grandfather and friend, Mr. Hoffpauir died Wednesday, March 18, 2015.
Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Lou Fontenot Hoffpauir of Mamou; two sons, Mitch Arnaud of Mamou and Tony Hoffpauir of New Orleans; one daughter, Mandy Soileau of Mamou; and one sister-in-law, Marilyn Fontenot of Lafayette. Also left behind to cherish his memory are his four grandchildren, Dustin Arnaud, Justin Arnaud, Brandon Soileau and Grant Hoffpauir Vidrine; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Berna Ardoin Hoffpauir; and one brother, Daniel Hoffpauir.
At the request of the Hoffpauir family, a visitation will be held today, March 19, from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Mamou and will reopen on Friday, March 20, from 8 a.m. until time services. A rosary will be recited in Mr. Hoffpauir’s honor this evening, March 19, at 6:30 p.m.
Father Mark Melancon will officiate.
