MAMOU - Funeral services were held for Dustin Dwayne Cole, 20, of Mamou at the Church of Christ in Pine Prairie at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 4. Burial followed in the Science Hill Cemetery in Glenmora.
Mr. Cole died Saturday, March 1, 2014. He was an avid sportsman who loved to fish and hunt.
Survivors include his mother, Tanya Ann Smith of Mamou; his father, Joey Dwayne Cole of Turkey Creek; one sister, Amber Elizabeth Cole of Mamou; his maternal grandmother, Nancy Smith of Mamou; his paternal grandfather, Bobby Cole of Turkey Creek; three uncles, Chad Smith of Mamou, Sherwood Lan Smith of Kamakura, Japan, and Randy Cole of Turkey Creek; and an aunt, Donna Manuel of Turkey Creek.
Pastor Jonathan Johnson officiated.
