VILLE PLATTE - Vistation for Edgar Soileau Jr. will be held Thursday January 19, 2017 from 12 p.m to 9 p.m. at Laville Funeral Home in Ville Platte with a rosary being recited at 6:30 p.m., and will resume again Friday January 20, 2017 from 8 a.m. until the time of services. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday January 20, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum. Fr. Tom Voorhies will officiate.
He leaves behind his sons Bobby Gene Soileau, John Soileau and Charles Soileau, all of Gonzales; daughter Elita Faye Soileau Chambers of Dallas, Texas; stepchildren; sisters, Barbara Briley, of Grand Prairie and Yvonne Landry, of Plaisance; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
LaVille Funeral Home in Ville Platte is in charge of arrangements.
