Edward Guillory

MAMOU - Funeral services were held for Edward Guillory, 87, of Mamou, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou at 10 a.m., Tuesday, August 19. Burial followed in the Perron Cemetery.
A loving father, grandfather and friend, Mr. Guillory died Sunday, August 17, 2014. He was a Korean veteran, having served in the United States Army. He retired after 53 years working for Bolard Marine MFG, Inc.
Survivors include four children, Bobby Guillory, Kathy Guillory Reed and her husband, Patrick, GiGi Guillory and Tammy Gravois, all of Mamou; one brother, J.L. Guillory; and two sisters, Virgie Smith and June Fontenot. He was further blessed with six grandchildren, Michael Auxilien, Andrew, Erik and Abby Skahl and Heaven and Bella Guillory. They were the absolute light of his life.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Guillory; his parents, Addison Guillory and Eula Crawford; five brothers, Earnest, J.B., A.D., Inky and James Guillory; and two sisters, Viola Barker and Jean Gaspard.
