Effie Jane Deville

Funeral services were held for Effie Jane Deville, 59, of Ville Platte, at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 19. Burial followed in the Eternal Rest Cemetery.
A loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend of many, Mrs. Deville died Tuesday, February 17, 2015.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Robert Wayne Deville Sr. of Ville Platte; two sons, Robert Wayne Deville Jr. and his wife, Melissa, of Vidrine and Johnny Deville and his wife, Liz, of Lake Charles; two daughters, Joanna Deville and Allison Rene Fontenot and her husband, Jade, all of Ville Platte; and two sisters, Shirley Vidrine of Ville Platte and Tammy Fontenot and her husband, Kelly, of Reddell. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her eight grandchildren, Ashley Blanchard, Summer Fontenot, Hunter Fontenot, Anna Deville, Zachary Deville, Angelle Deville, Nicholas Deville and Kenneth Deville; and four great-grandchildren, Brayden Blanchard, Landon Blanchard, Alexis Blanchard and Waylon Blanchard.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Shirley and Mabel Guillory.
Father Brad Guillory officiated.
