Elaine Rollins Vidrine

BAYOU CHICOT - Funeral services will be held for Elaine Rollins Vidrine, 67, of Opelousas, at Calvary Baptist Church in Bayou Chicot at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 9. Burial will follow in the Ferguson Cemetery.
A loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Mrs. Vidrine died Tuesday, April 7, 2015.
Survivors include her loving husband of 49 years, John Ed Vidrine of Opelousas; two sons, Lafe Vidrine and Shane Vidrine and his wife, Michelle, all of Opelousas; two daughters, Rhonda Vidrine and Sandy Olivier and her husband, Mark, all of Opelousas; four brothers, Leroy Rollins, Malcolm Rollins, Duke Rollins and George Rollins, all of Bayou Chicot; and three sisters, Betty Zager, Ruth Fontenot and Christine Kardish, all of Bayou Chicot. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her seven grandchildren, Mark Olivier II and his wife, Julia, Kelsey Olivier, Katelyn Taylor and her husband, Kainin, Valerie Doucet, Victoria Doucet, Tristen Marks and C.J. Guillory; and her two great-grandchildren, Prim Olivier and Maddex Martinez.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Anita Rollins; one brother, Dudley Rollins; and three sisters, Lillian Kardish, Lilly Fontenot and Helen Winn.
Pall bearers will be Mark Olivier, Mark Olivier II, Neil Vidrine, Shane Wiltz, Kainin Taylor and Matthew Vidrine. Honorary pall bearers will be Lafe Vidrine, Tristen Marks, C.J. Gullory and A.J. Wiltz
A special thanks to Alitha “daughter,” Shane “son” and A.J. “grandson.”
Pastor Chad Bolfa will officiate.
