Ella Mae Fontenot

MAMOU - Funeral services were held for Ella Mae Fontenot, 88, of Eunice, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Pine Prairie at 10 a.m., Monday, June 29. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Ms. Fontenot died Friday, June 26, 2015, at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice.
Survivors include her husband of 71 years, Jules Simon Fontenot Jr. of Eunice; two sons, Donald Fontenot and his wife, Sara, of Pineville and Mark Fontenot and his wife, Yvette, of Mamou; three daughters, Dorothy Serlin and her husband, Phillip, of Stanton, California, Teresa Miller and her husband, Shelton, of Egan and Susan Bergeron and her husband, Paul, of Eunice; one sister, Vivian Hall and her husband, Johnie, of Eunice; 13 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Addison and Lenore Guillory; one brother, Roosevelt Guillory; and two granddaughters, Kristyn Fontenot and Rebecca Sliman.
Father Richard Broussard officiated.
